Description
AOI AM2A-BB Aluminum Ball to Ball Arms-2
The AOI AM2A-BB is the second-generation (Aluminum Arm-2) series of double-ball underwater camera extension arms developed by AOI.
Key Upgrades Over the AM1A Series
While the first-generation AM1A was constructed entirely of metal, the AM2A series introduces a hybrid structure:
- Material Composition: It combines high-strength Aluminum Alloy with Glass Fiber Reinforced Polycarbonate (PC+GF). This design optimizes the weight-to-strength ratio while providing excellent saltwater corrosion resistance.
- Integrated Accessory Mounts: The AM2A arm body allows for the attachment of dedicated accessories, such as the AOI AD-AM2A-01 Mount Adapter, which lets you mount extra gear directly onto the arm body.
- Ball Joints: It retains the industry-standard 1-inch (24.8mm / 25mm) ball joints equipped with non-slip rubber O-rings for secure clamping.
