AOI CLV-202 Underwater 3,000 LM Video Light

The AOI CLV-202 is a high-performance 3,000-lumen underwater video light engineered by AOI, a brand renowned for its underwater optics and photography equipment. Unlike standard dive torches that create harsh, narrow hotspots, the CLV-202 features a wide, uniform beam with excellent color rendering designed to reveal the natural colors of marine life.

Key technical specifications and features include:

• High Output & Color Accuracy: It delivers a powerful 3,000 Lumens of white light with a high Color Rendering Index (90 CRI) and a color temperature of 5000K, closely mimicking natural sunlight underwater.
• Wide, Even Beam Angle: It projects a wide 90-degree beam angle underwater, providing uniform coverage for wide-angle videography and preventing dark edges in your footage.
• Intuitive Rotary Knob Control: Brightness is easily adjusted using a continuous Rotary Knob Dimming system, making it easy to fine-tune exposure on the fly, even while wearing thick diving gloves. It also features strobe and SOS flash modes.
• Battery & Power: It operates on two 18650 rechargeable Li-ion batteries (AOI recommends using high-drain batteries with a minimum discharge rating of 5A). It provides a burn time of approximately 45 minutes at full 100% power.
• Depth Rating & Build: Built with premium underwater housing materials, it is waterproof down to 100 meters (330 feet) and weighs around 271.4g on land (excluding batteries and mount).
• Color Variants & Mounting: Available in two clean finishes, Black (BLK) and White (WHT). It comes standard with a 1-inch ball mount, allowing seamless connection to standard butterfly clamps, arms, and camera trays.
• Optional Optical Filter: AOI also offers a specialized optional accessory, the AOI FLR-02-BLU Ocean Environmental Filter, to further balance underwater optical color profiles.

The AOI FLR-02-BLU is a specialized optical accessory designed exclusively for the AOI CLV-202 underwater video light.
Rather than acting as a simple colored cap, it modifies the video light’s output to work seamlessly with the ambient environment.

• Color Blending & Action Cameras: It blends artificial light with natural blue daylight and optimizes performance with the automatic white balance of action cameras for true-to-life colors.
