Description

AOI Underwater Housing for Canon EOS R50 Camera

AOI UH-R50 is a professional underwater camera housing designed exclusively for the Canon EOS R50 mirrorless camera.

Featuring an ultra-lightweight design, a fixed lens port, and high cost-performance, it perfectly bridges the gap between the portability of an action camera and the high image quality of a DSLR. It is the ideal choice for social media creators and underwater photography enthusiasts alike.

With the AOI Combo package, users can skip the hassle of choosing compatible accessories—simply install the camera and it is ready to dive.

Core Specifications & Key Features

Depth Rating: Built for deep diving with a professional waterproof rating of 60 meters (200 feet).
Ultra-Lightweight Design: Weighs only 950 grams on land. When paired with the camera and the RF-S 18-45mm lens underwater, it has a negative buoyancy of approximately -280 grams, making underwater handling effortless.
Integrated Fixed Port: Factory-calibrated specifically for the Kit lens (RF-S 18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM). It requires no tedious assembly, offering a seamless “set-and-forget” travel experience.
M67 Threaded Front: Features a built-in 67mm thread on the front of the port. This allows divers to easily screw on wet lenses—such as the UWL-09 wide-angle lens or macro diopters—mid-dive for ultimate flexibility.
Advanced Safety System: Comes standard with the Vacuum Analysing and Wet Detection System (VWS). This allows users to conduct a vacuum pre-dive check and triggers an alert if even a trace of moisture is detected.
Strobe Synchronization: Utilizes the camera’s built-in pop-up flash for optical triggering, providing flawless synchronization with underwater strobes like the AOI UCS-Q1.
Vertical Shooting Support: Fully compatible with the AOI Modular Design System (MDS), making it easy to shoot in vertical orientations to meet the needs of social media short-form video creation.
