The AOI UCL Pro Series (Underwater Pro Range Close-up Lenses) represents AOI’s premier flagship line of high-end underwater macro wet lenses. Constructed with hard-anodized aluminum alloy barrels and precision optical glass, all elements feature multi-layer AR (anti-reflective) coatings. This specialized optics engineering delivers exceptional edge-to-edge sharpness, high light transmission, and minimal chromatic aberration, making them ideal for capturing pristine micro-details of tiny marine subjects like pygmy seahorses and nudibranchs.
All lenses in the AOI UCL Pro series (09PRO, 90PRO, 900PRO) use a standard M67 (67mm) thread mount.

AOI UCL Pro Series Close Up Lens
The AOI UCL Pro Series (Underwater Pro Range Close-up Lenses) represents AOI’s premier flagship line of high-end underwater macro wet lenses. Constructed with hard-anodized aluminum alloy barrels and precision optical glass, all elements feature multi-layer AR (anti-reflective) coatings. This specialized optics engineering delivers exceptional edge-to-edge sharpness, high light transmission, and minimal chromatic aberration, making them ideal for capturing pristine micro-details of tiny marine subjects like pygmy seahorses and nudibranchs.
All lenses in the AOI UCL Pro series (09PRO, 90PRO, 900PRO) use a standard M67 (67mm) thread mount.
Additionally, the mount design includes several features optimized for underwater use:
- Universal Compatibility: They can be screwed directly onto any camera housing port or lens adapter that features a standard M67 thread.
- Removable Rear Thread Ring: The rear M67 thread ring can be unscrewed and removed. This allows the lens to be mounted closer to the housing port when using flip adapters, reducing vignetting and maximizing image quality.
- Front M67 Thread: The front of the lens also features an M67 female thread, allowing you to stack another macro lens or attach color filters.
- Quick Release System (QRS) Ready: They can be adapted to the AOI QRS (Quick Release System) using an optional bayonet adapter ring, allowing you to mount or unmount the lens in seconds underwater.
