The AOI UWL-09 series consists of professional-grade, interchangeable wet wide-angle lenses optimized for compact, mirrorless, or DSLR housings using a standard 67mm (M67) thread. These lenses allow full “zoom-through,” meaning you can use your camera’s optical zoom underwater without losing focus or needing to remove the wet lens.

AOI UWL-09 Series Wide Angle Lens
The AOI UWL-09 series consists of professional-grade, interchangeable wet wide-angle lenses optimized for compact, mirrorless, or DSLR housings using a standard 67mm (M67) thread. These lenses allow full “zoom-through,” meaning you can use your camera’s optical zoom underwater without losing focus or needing to remove the wet lens.
All lenses in the AOI UWL-09 series use a standard M67 (67mm) thread mount.
Key Series Advantages
- Dual-Adapter Versatility: The series famously ships with two variations of the M67 adapter (Adapter A and B). This accommodates different housing thread depths, allowing you to seat the lens closer to your housing’s flat port glass to minimize vignetting (dark corners).
- Zero Minimum Focus Distance: You can shoot subjects directly touching the front dome, which is perfect for Close-Focus Wide-Angle (CFWA) photography.
- Rotatable Lens Hood: The built-in petal shades/wings can be adjusted underwater without tools to match horizontal or vertical compositions and eliminate sun flare.
